4. Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address through Google's OAuth service. This information is used solely to create and maintain your Hammock Earth account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Payments
Online bookings and purchases are processed through a third-party payment provider (Stripe). We receive confirmation of payment and basic transaction details, but your full payment card information is handled and stored by the payment provider under their own security standards. We encourage you to review their privacy policy.
6. Sharing Your Information
We share information only in limited circumstances:
- Service providers: vendors who help us operate (e.g. payment processing, email delivery, website hosting), bound by confidentiality obligations
- Event co-hosts or facilitators: where a workshop or programme is co-led with a partner, relevant booking details may be shared with that partner solely for running the event
- Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect the safety of our guests and community
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where your data may transfer to a successor entity
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and support online bookings. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect booking functionality.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services and fulfil legal obligations (such as financial record-keeping). You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information. Online bookings and payments are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS). No method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
Our website and online services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us their information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email or in-app notice. Continued use of hammock.earth after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
