1. About Hammock Earth

Hammock Earth Inc. ("Hammock Earth," "we," "our," or "us") operates a wellness farm offering on-land experiences — including farm-to-table dinners, workshops, and retreats — as well as online programming, accessible at hammock.earth.

2. Accepting These Terms

By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using hammock.earth, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian), and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

3. Your Account

You may register with an email address or sign in using Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@hammock.earth if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Bookings & Purchases

Making a booking. When you book a workshop, farm dinner, retreat, or online programme through hammock.earth, you are making a binding purchase. Confirmation of your booking will be sent to the email address on your account.

Pricing. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and will notify you before processing any affected booking.

Payment. Payment is due at time of booking and is processed through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorised to use that payment method.

Cancellations & Refunds.

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event date are eligible for a full refund
• Cancellations made 2-7 days before the event are eligible for a credit toward a future event
• Cancellations made fewer than 2 days before the event are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion
• If Hammock Earth cancels an event, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date

Transfers. Booking transfers to another person may be accommodated at our discretion with advance notice — please contact us at least 2 days before the event.

5. On-Land Experiences

When attending in-person events at the Hammock Earth farm, you agree to:

• Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by our staff and facilitators
• Respect the land, animals, gardens, and other guests
• Disclose relevant health conditions, dietary restrictions, or allergies when registering
• Arrive on time; late arrivals may not be accommodated depending on the event format

We reserve the right to remove any guest from the property who behaves in a manner that is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to others or the land.

6. Online Programming

Access to online programmes is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not record, reproduce, share, or redistribute any online content without our written permission. Access links are not transferable.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use hammock.earth to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or spam content
• Scrape or collect data from the site using automated means

8. Photography & Media

Hammock Earth may photograph or record events for promotional purposes. By attending, you grant us permission to use images or video in which you appear for our marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let our staff know at the event.

Guests are welcome to take personal photos for non-commercial use. Please be mindful of other guests and request permission before sharing identifiable images of others on social media.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on hammock.earth — including text, images, recipes, programme materials, and design — is owned by or licensed to Hammock Earth Inc. and protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Our workshops, programmes, and farm experiences are offered for general wellness and educational purposes. Nothing offered by Hammock Earth constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please consult a qualified health professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or wellness routine, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition.

Participation in physical or outdoor activities is at your own risk. We are not liable for personal injury arising from your participation, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

11. Third-Party Services

hammock.earth may link to or integrate with third-party services, including Google (for sign-in) and our payment provider. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.

12. Disclaimers

THE HAMMOCK EARTH WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY ONTARIO AND CANADIAN LAW, HAMMOCK EARTH INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES OR ATTENDANCE AT OUR EVENTS.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking or service giving rise to the claim.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@hammock.earth — most concerns can be resolved without formal proceedings.

15. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access to hammock.earth at our discretion if you breach these Terms. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination, including confirmed bookings subject to our cancellation policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email or notice on the website. Continued use of hammock.earth after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
