About this event

What if starting a food garden felt simple, aligned, and deeply nourishing? It absolutely can!

In this 90-min online workshop, you’ll be guided through the key questions and top tips to begin with clarity and confidence. Join us online on Earth Day Wed April 22 between 7pm-8:30pm.

Together, we’ll take an ecological approach to planning your garden, one that honours time, space, and all the intricate living systems that work together to support growth.

You’ll learn and leave with:

  • A polyculture approach (and what that means!),

  • Tools to plan your garden,

  • A list of next steps to get started,

  • A community of support,

  • A deeper sense of how and why you grow food.

We’ll also gather your questions and barriers to shape future, in person, hands-on workshops at the farm.

Designed specifically for anyone seeking a meaningful, regenerative way to grow food or start their first garden. No prior knowledge of growing is needed to attend this workshop.

Come as you are (PJ’s encouraged), get cozy - bring water, tea and any items to help you feel supported, and let’s begin with where you are and start with what you have. See you soon!
